I have 2 growing boys who love it when I have a tasty home baked treat ready for them after school. I stumbled across this basic recipe in an old recipe book and gave it a few tweaks to make it my own.
Follow the recipe as below to make chunky cookies or chill the dough in the fridge for an hour or 2 before spooning onto trays and this makes them flatter and more like subway cookies when cooked.
The bigger the chocolate chunks the yummier it is! You can even add in some other tasty extras like macadamia nuts or pecan nuts. These will store in an airtight container for a week but I sincerely doubt that they will though as this recipe is sure to become a family favourite at your place as it has at mine.
